Super Bowl 50 is set to kick off across the nation on Sunday, Feb. 7, and the bail agents at All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita are preparing for one of their busiest days of the year.
Super Bowl Sunday is a peak day in the bail bonding business because of the many related parties and large gatherings at homes, restaurants and bars, with alcohol often present.
“Like on major holidays, alcohol tends to be a part of the celebrations on Super Bowl Sunday,” said Inessa Chavez, vice president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita. “If you’re going to be drinking beer or alcohol, make sure you plan ahead and don’t drink and drive.”

Individuals who drive under the influence are not only risking being arrested and charged with a DUI, they’re also jeopardizing everyone’s safety on the road.
It’s not uncommon for average residents to be arrested for a DUI during the holidays or after major events like the Super Bowl, and it can even happen to an ordinarily responsible person because of alcohol’s ability to impair thinking.

To help keep SCV residents safe and out of jail this Super Bowl Sunday, Chavez is offering the following tips to the community:
- Designate a sober driver in advance.
- Have someone to call if the designated driver plan falls through.
- Be prepared to call a cab, Uber driver or use other transportation services to get home.
- Always drink responsibly.
- Remember that buzzed driving is drunk driving.
