Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles officials have recently released the 2015 Los Angeles County Bail Schedule.
Every year, the bail schedule is revised and released by the court.
The bail schedule purpose is to fix an amount in which a person who is arrested without a warrant may be released from jail prior to their court appearance, according to the document.
The arresting officer books the suspect under one of the penal codes when a suspect is arrested.
If you are arrested on a kidnapping charge, the bail amount would total at least $100,000.
You would pay the courts 10 percent, in this case $10,000 if you wanted to get bailed out of jail. You would go to a bail bonds agency, like All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita, and pay them the $10,000 over a period of time with collateral if you cannot afford that,
“Many times, it’s best to go to a bail bonds agency because it’s hard to pay $1,000 or even $10,000 outright,” said Inessa Chavez, vice-president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita. “Bail bonds agents also know all of the in’s and out’s of the courts and bail business.”

The bail schedule covers felonies and misdemeanors and is updated annually.
“The Los Angeles County Bail Schedule is an important tool for law enforcement, court officials and bail agents,” Chavez said. “At All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita, we use the bail schedule all of the time.”
