Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit Deputy Amy Raniag and her partner, a black labrador named Sstack, were recently interviewed on the KHTS AM 1220 show ‘Neighborhood Watch’, sponsored by All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita.
News Director Perry Smith and Deputy Josh Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station interviewed Raniag about her job and responsibilities as a K9 unit deputy in the department.
The show, which aired on Dec. 4, is part of the “Neighborhood Watch” series where Smith and Dubin interview a variety of law enforcement officials.
Occasionally, Jeff Chavez, vice president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita, goes on the show to talk about the bail bonds business.
“I think this show is invaluable to the Santa Clarita Valley community,” said Inessa Chavez, vice president of All American Bail Bonds. “It gives everyone the chance to gain perspective with the Sheriff’s Station and All American Bail Bonds.”
Arson Explosives Detective Cindy Valencia, Sheriff’s Department Headquarters Bureau Commander Mike Parker and Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Captain Roosevelt Johnson are among the array of guests who have been on the show.
“The best part is that community members can ask these leaders questions about their jobs, about things happening in the news, and really get to know these people,” Inessa Chavez said.
